Prospects and Expectations for Antioxidant Research
There are two ways of thinking about “preventive medicine” and “curative medicine” for all future human diseases. The following is an introduction to these two concepts, along with the prospects and expectations of antioxidant research.
Diseases related to oxidative stress
There are currently more than 150 diseases related to oxidative stress.
If there are 150 types, most of the world’s diseases can be included.
Cancer, hypertension, atherosclerosis, dementia, diabetes, neurodegenerative diseases (Parkinson’s, ALS), all allergic diseases, and inflammatory diseases are all related to oxidative stress.
About Preventive Medicine
Even in healthy people, oxidative stress gradually rises as we get older.
As you get older, your risk of contracting any of the 150 diseases that are related to oxidative stress increases.
Conversely, lowering oxidative stress lowers the risk of contracting oxidative stress-related diseases. Therefore, antioxidant research can aim to prevent as many as 150 different diseases. This is the concept of prevention.
About Therapeutic Medicine
This is for people who already have a disease.
For example, when we asked hay fever patients to take Twendee X, 80% of them responded within 4 weeks. We asked a third party organization called Eyes to provide us with this data. The results show that hay fever becomes less severe and symptoms disappear.
A professor from Kyoto Prefecture is planning to write a paper on this.
In addition, we are also monitoring asthma patients.
Example of some data
I’ve had my patients on Twendee X for four months.
I just received the data of the results of the two months of taking it. A quarter of the patients will no longer have seizures. The frequency of seizures is greatly reduced. The effectiveness rate is 91%.
This is something we can already see.
The other thing is liver disease.
No matter what type of liver function you have, hepatitis or cirrhosis is a state of extremely elevated oxidative stress. For example, a person with a gamma GDP of 100 or 200 will normalize in a month or two.
You can see this in the numbers.
We are in the process of collecting various data like this.
Future Prospects and Expectations
Antioxidant research is now in the process of providing evidence of both preventive and therapeutic benefits for 150 different diseases in the world.
The reality is that as we age, oxidative stress increases.
If we can reduce this oxidative stress, we will be able to prevent and treat various diseases as well as aging.
